AP Race Call: Joe Biden easily wins Nevada Democratic primary
President Joe Biden has won the Democratic presidential primary in Nevada, marking his second substantial victory within a week. The Associated Press declared Biden the winner based on initial vote results, with Biden garnering about 89% of the vote. Biden’s support in Nevada seems to have grown considerably since his 2020 run, with him receiving approximately 90% of the vote in Clark County, a significant increase from the 24% he got there during the 2020 Democratic caucuses. Biden will also secure the majority of the state’s 36 delegates at stake. This follows his recent victory in South Carolina, where he secured about 96% of the vote.
