Ali Abdelaziz: “She earned everything she has”

Kayla Harrison, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in judo with a professional record of 16-1, has recently signed with the UFC and is set to make her debut against Holly Holm at UFC 300. Harrison is dropping two weight classes to compete in the 135-pound division, leading to questions about how this will affect her performance. After signing with the UFC, any potential match with Cris Cyborg was dismissed. Cyborg has since accused Harrison of avoiding the fight, to which Harrison responded that her goal is to become a UFC champion, not to participate in Cyborg’s “games”.
