A new ‘Star Wars’ movie is coming to theaters: ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’
Disney and Lucasfilm have announced that Jon Favreau will direct a movie based on “The Mandalorian & Grogu”, popularly known as Baby Yoda. The movie, expected to go into production later this year, will serve as an extension of the Disney+ series, with Dave Filoni and Kathleen Kennedy serving as producers. Despite no further details about the release date or cast, the news comes as a pleasant surprise to Star Wars fans who have been awaiting a new film since “The Rise of Skywalker” in 2019. Lucasfilm is also developing several other Star Wars features with filmmakers including Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold and Filoni.
