5 Marines killed in helicopter crash are identified

The U.S. Marine Corps has identified five Marines killed in a helicopter crash during a training mission from Nevada to California. The deceased were Lance Cpl. Donovan Davis, Sgt. Alec Langen, Capt. Benjamin Moulton, Capt. Jack Casey, and Capt. Miguel Nava, all part of the Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361. The helicopter, a CH-53E Super Stallion, was found in a snowy, remote part of Southern California the day after it went missing. The cause of the crash is unknown but occurred during a winter storm. The Super Stallion has had previous issues with mechanical failures.
