Four businesses were burglarized in under 20 minutes in the San Fernando Valley, causing frustration among owners who feel unsupported by the justice system. The incidents, which occurred around 3:30 a.m. along Ventura Boulevard, were captured on security footage and are believed to be connected. The burglars targeted Equivalence shoe store, Bliss Pharmacy, Bliss Nail Salon, and Michael’s Custom Clothes, with the thieves stealing over $120,000 worth of merchandise from the shoe store alone. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that as many as eight suspects in three different vehicles were involved, though attempts to apprehend them were unsuccessful due to erratic driving.
