2 officers were shot after responding to a 911 call at a home near Philadelphia, sources say

Two police officers were injured after responding to a shooting in a house in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, during which an individual was allegedly barricaded inside the house, firing shots. The incident reportedly began with a person claiming to be a child reporting that they had been shot, although it was unclear whether a child was actually involved. The two officers are in stable condition at the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia. Delaware County District Attorney, Jack Stollsteimer, indicated that the individual within the house opened fire on the officers and set fire to the house. The fire has since been extinguished, but uncertainty remains about the shooter’s status and the involvement of a child.
