2 killed, I-435 shutdown after fatal wrong-way collision
Kansas City Police closed down I-435 Northbound at 210 Highway due to a fatal collision that occurred following an armed robbery. The suspect, who was being pursued by police, drove south in the Northbound lanes and crashed into another vehicle, resulting in two deaths. The identities of the deceased have not been released. Nearly five hours after the incident, all lanes of I-435 were reopened.
