2 adults seriously injured in 3-alarm fire that led to power outage in Orange, Massachusetts

Two adults were seriously injured in a house fire in Orange, Massachusetts that also resulted in power outages. Responding fire crews encountered heavy fire and rescued one resident, while two other adults escaped without injury. Several dogs were also rescued, though multiple dogs perished. The fire does not appear suspicious and officials noted that wood stoves, used to heat the home, are the second-leading cause of residential fires in Massachusetts. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Orange Fire Department and State Police fire investigators.
