18-year-old shot, killed inside vehicle at West Side apartment complex, SAPD says
An 18-year-old male was shot multiple times and killed inside his vehicle in a parking lot at the Westway Apartments in San Antonio, Texas late Tuesday night. The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. not far from Callaghan Road and Gilbert Garza Park. The San Antonio Police Department reports that unidentified suspects approached the teen’s car and fired, hitting him at least twice in the chest before fleeing the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital but later died. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing with no known motive or suspects identified yet.
