17-year-old expected to survive after being shot in face while riding in vehicle near Clark Park
A 17-year-old boy was shot in the face while riding in a car in north Houston, Texas on Friday evening, according to the Houston Police Department (HPD). The shooting occurred near Clark Park at around 10:30 pm. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the teenager conscious and talking. He had apparently suffered a gunshot wound from one of three men, armed with a rifle, who were seen on the side of the road. The Houston PD is currently investigating the incident.
