A 10-year-old boy in Sacramento County, California, has been arrested on suspicion of shooting another child with his father’s gun. The victim, identified as Keith Frierson, was found in a parking lot in Foothill Farms with a gunshot wound and later pronounced dead at a hospital. The shooter allegedly found the gun in his father’s truck and then shot Frierson before fleeing to a nearby apartment. The father, an ex-felon who was prohibited by law from owning or possessing a firearm, was arrested on suspicion of felonies including child endangerment and transporting a stolen loaded weapon in a vehicle. The father remains in jail on $500,000 bail.
