Where Do The Warriors Go From Here?

The Golden State Warriors, after an initial strong start to the 2023-24 NBA season, are currently struggling and are ranked 11th in the West. Their start player, Stephen Curry, continues to perform well, but the team as a whole, particularly the starting lineup, has been underperforming. They have a -9.8 net rating this season, which is only slightly better than the Detroit Pistons who have a -10.1 net rating and have lost 20 games straight. The Warriors bench, led by Chris Paul, is proving to be the strongest part of the team. Young players like Moses Moody, Jonathan Kuminga, and Brandin Podziemski are having good starts. However, the team has been performing poorly in close games. The Warriors have also been dealing with suspensions, with Draymond Green potentially facing another one. If the team’s performance does not improve soon, the front office may need to make difficult decisions.
