Trae Young, Scottie Barnes Replace Embiid, Randle In NBA All-Star Game

The full rosters for the 2024 NBA All-Star Game were recently revealed, with Trae Young and Scottie Barnes named as injury replacements for Joel Embiid and Julius Randle. Young, who is averaging 27.3 points and 10.9 assists per game, was initially left off the roster, but received support from NBA stars like LeBron James and Stephen Curry to be selected as a replacement. Barnes, the young star from the Raptors, was chosen as the second replacement, despite many believing that the Celtics deserved a third All-Star. Barnes is currently averaging 20.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game for the Raptors. Decisions on who will move into the starting lineup for the East will be made by Doc Rivers.
