There Is “Not A Market’ For A Zach LaVine Trade

The future of basketball player Zach LaVine, who is currently in the second year of a 5-year, $215 million extension with the Chicago Bulls, is uncertain. According to ESPN analyst Adrian Wojnarowski, there is currently not much of a market for LaVine due to various factors, including his high salary, his productivity and his recurrent foot injury. Wojnarowski suggests that the best course of action for the Bulls and LaVine is for him to recover from his injury, start playing well and impacting wins. It’s worth noting that players who signed free-agent deals in the offseason cannot be traded until December 15. The Bulls are not seeking a salary dump but hope to get value in any potential trades.
