The Hornets Will Trade P.J. Washington To The Mavs
The Charlotte Hornets have finalized a trade deal to send P.J. Washington to the Dallas Mavericks. In exchange, the Hornets will receive Grant Williams, Seth Curry, and a future first-round NBA Draft pick, with the pick only protected for the top-2 picks. The deal was confirmed by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Washington is in the first year of a three-year contract extension and is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2028. The trade will see Washington move to the Western Conference for the first time in his career.
