Patrick Mahomes Helmet Cracked On A Hit Against The Dolphins
The Kansas City Chiefs, led by Patrick Mahomes, struggled to finish drives with touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins, despite moving the ball successfully. On three occasions in the first three quarters, the Chiefs were deep inside Miami territory but were only able to score field goals. At one point, Mahomes attempted a run which took Kansas City inside the five-line, but was unable to score a touchdown. Mahomes also suffered a helmet-to-helmet collision that resulted in his helmet shattering, prompting a game halt for him to change helmets. The Chiefs ultimately took a 19-7 lead after kicking another field goal.
