Leon Edwards Won A Decision Over Colby Covington At UFC 296

Leon Edwards (22-3) retained the Welterweight Championship at UFC 296 against Colby Covington (17-4) with a unanimous decision. Throughout the fight, Edwards maintained control with successful strikes and leg kicks, and deflecting Covington’s takedown attempts. Covington tried to up the pressure after lackluster early rounds but was unsuccessful. Edwards won the championship in 2022 with a knockout of Kamaru Usman and successfully defended it against Covington in UFC 296.
