LaMelo Ball Will Miss Extended Time With An Ankle Sprain

Charlotte Hornets’ star, LaMelo Ball, has suffered a significant ankle sprain which will keep him on the sidelines for an uncertain period, as reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic. Ball’s injury does not involve a fracture, and he is currently using a walking boot and crutches. His injury was confirmed by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, stating that he would miss “multiple weeks”. Ball had previously suffered a right ankle fracture last February, which concluded his season early. Despite this, he’s been in top form this year, averaging 24.7 points, 8.2 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per 33.4 minutes per game.
