Jimmy Kimmel Fired Back At “Hamster-Brained’ Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suggested on The Pat McAfee Show that late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel may be on Jeffrey Epstein’s list of former clients. Kimmel responded by threatening legal action and both The Pat McAfee Show and ESPN have since apologized, but Rodgers has yet to do so. In response, Kimmel used his own show as a platform to criticize Rodgers, suggesting that Rodgers either genuinely believes the baseless claim or said it out of spite for previous mockery from Kimmel. Kimmel also attributed Rodgers’s behavior to the Dunning-Kruger effect, a cognitive bias where individuals overestimate their competence in areas outside their expertise. Kimmel wrapped up his roast by sarcastically congratulating Rodgers for making the New York Jets look worse.
