Ja Morant Out For Season After A Tear In His Right Shoulder

Basketball player Ja Morant’s 2023-24 season with the Memphis Grizzlies has ended prematurely due to a shoulder injury that requires surgery. Morant’s shoulder subluxation led to an underlying labral tear, which was identified through an MRI. His season was limited to nine games due to a 25-game suspension, but his return had given a boost to the team, which went 6-3 with him in play. Morant averaged 25.1 points, 8.1 assists, and 5.6 rebounds in the games he played. He is expected to fully recover before the 2024-25 season.
