The Lakers’ defence seems to be the main issue, with the team conceding over 130 points in four consecutive games. During a recent game against the Hawks, Anthony Davis was absent and his replacement, Jaxson Hayes, was chosen as a starter over Christian Wood. This decision led to Wood tweeting “lol”, which was interpreted by some as a sign of his dissatisfaction. Both Darvin Ham and Wood addressed the tweet, with Ham stating that the starting line-up was not “a popularity contest.”
