CBS Will Introduce “Doink Cameras’ For Super Bowl LVIII

CBS will broadcast Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, using a staggering 165 cameras, including robotic, fly, sky, and pylon cams, as well as the new “doink cams” in the goalposts. The network’s grand presentation plans aim to provide audiences with new and unique viewing angles. The introduction of the “doink cam” will give a distinct perspective, especially in instances of close makes or misses on a field goal or extra point. Additionally, 24 of the cameras will feature 4K zoom capabilities, offering clearer replay angles for review, a valuable addition for a Super Bowl broadcast.
