PA Recognized as One of the Top States to Reside in 2024

Considering a New Place to Call Home? Look No Further Than Pennsylvania

Are you contemplating a lifestyle change and exploring new destinations offering a fresh start? Certain U.S. states present better prospects than others if a relocation is on the horizon.

A recent Shoreline Immigration study provides a comprehensive review of every American state, evaluating key factors like violent crime rate, home prices, school quality, average salaries, job availability, and healthcare.

Pennsylvania: One of the Top Choices for Relocation

Interestingly, Pennsylvania featured prominently in the list of top recommendations.

Pennsylvania has been ranked as the 10th best state to move to. The average house price in the Keystone State is a staggering 37.9% less than the national average, costing around $257,268. Furthermore, there are 2,855 jobs available per 100,000 people, earning Pennsylvania a robust final index score of 63.90 out of 100.

As a native of New Jersey, a neighboring state, I often hear remarks like “I should move to PA” or “It’s more affordable to live in PA,” from family, friends, and colleagues.

The top five best states to move to in 2024 are New Hampshire, Wyoming, Virginia, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin, with three out of five states located on the East Coast.
