Tomaszewski Secures Second MEAC Weekly Honor

GREENSBORO–Lauren Tomaszewski, a star bowler from North Carolina A&T Aggies, has bagged the prestigious title of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the week. This is the fifth time the three-time first-team All-MEAC performer has won this honor.

Performance at the Track Kat Klash

At the recent Track Kat Klash event in Houston, Tomaszewski finished an impressive ninth while the Aggies secured a commendable fourth place with an 8-5 record and total pinfall of 13,460. Tomaszewski knocked down 1,063 pins over the weekend in traditional play, averaging 212.60 pins per match.

Tomaszewski’s Gratitude and Honor

“Being named the MEAC bowler of the week is a great honor and I’m humbled to be recognized for my hard work,” expressed Tomaszewski. She also acknowledged her successful performance wouldn’t be possible without the support from her coaches and teammates and hopes to continue this winning trend.

Impactful Play Against Newman University and Nebraska

During the Baker format, best-of-seven bracket play, Tomaszewski played a significant role in the Aggies’ victories over No. 13 Newman University and No. 3 Nebraska. She averaged 22.01 pins per frame and recorded an 89.4 spare fill percentage.

Making History at the Tulane University Colonial Classic

In a historic moment earlier this season, Tomaszewski bowled a perfect 300 game at the Tulane University Colonial Classic. She’s only the second Aggie bowler to achieve this feat in the past eight months.
