Kai Greer Withdraws Commitment to Arkansas

As of Tuesday, Arkansas loses the verbal commitment of prized talent, Kai Greer.

About Kai Greer

An impressive 4-star offensive tackle from Marvin Ridge, Waxhaw, North Carolina, Greer was ranked as the No. 38 interior offensive lineman (IOL) and the No. 19 player in the state for the 2024 class. With a commanding presence of 6-foot-6 and weighing 285 pounds, he was a highly valued recruit.

Why Kai Greer Decommited from Arkansas

Following recent changes in the coaching staff at Arkansas, Greer felt it was best to reconsider his commitment. In a tweet, Greer appreciated Coach Pittman and the team, and wished them well moving forward.

Changes in Arkansas Coaching Staff

The Razorbacks recently brought in Eric Mateos from Baylor as their new offensive line coach, replacing Cody Kennedy, who had originally recruited Greer.

Future Prospects for Kai Greer

Though Greer has decided against Arkansas, he continues to attract offers from other SEC schools, including Texas A&M, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Vanderbilt.

Updates from the Arkansas Football Program

Despite a less than ideal season, Arkansas has made several changes within their coaching staff. Bobby Petrino is set to return to Fayetteville as the offensive coordinator. Currently, the Hogs have verbal commitments from two 3-star IOLs, Zuri Madison and Kobe Branham.
