Geisinger Healthplex State College: One of America’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers

In Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, Geisinger Healthplex State College has earned its place on Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers for 2024. This distinguished accolade from Newsweek and Statista Inc. highlights the Healthplex’s superior quality of care, performance data, and peer recommendations compared to its rivals in Pennsylvania.

A.J. Hartsock, associate vice president for Geisinger’s western region, said, “Being selected for this prestigious national ranking corroborates our teams’ unwavering commitment to our communities and our mission to deliver exceptional patient care. Since this honor is only awarded to organizations that pass performance and peer recommendation assessments, it is a testament to the top-tier care Geisinger offers to its patients.”
