Actor Russell Brand Accused of Sexual Misconduct in New Lawsuit

Actor Russell Brand is facing new allegations of sexual misconduct, according to a new lawsuit. The lawsuit claims that Brand exposed himself to a woman on a movie set and later sexually assaulted her in a bathroom.

The alleged incidents took place on the set of the movie “Arthur”, with the woman claiming her time on set was made a “living hell” by Brand. The accusation represents a new accuser in the ongoing controversy surrounding the actor.

The woman alleges that Brand exposed himself to her in July 2010, in full view of the cast and crew on the Warner Bros. movie set. The lawsuit also claims that Brand had appeared intoxicated on set, even carrying a bottle of vodka.

According to the lawsuit, Brand followed the woman into a bathroom on the same day of the initial incident, where he sexually assaulted her while a production crew member guarded the door. The woman claims to still suffer extreme fear, shame, and embarrassment as a result of the alleged incident.

The woman, suing as Jane Doe, was hired to work on the movie for three days. However, after the alleged assault on the first day, she was not brought back for the remaining days and only paid for one day of work. The woman fears being blacklisted in Hollywood and retaliation from Brand’s loyal following.

Brand has already been accused of sexual misconduct by at least four other women and is under criminal investigation in the United Kingdom.

Despite the mounting allegations, Brand maintains his innocence, insisting all his sexual relationships have been consensual.
