Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Seeks Court Protection from Home Intruder

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is seeking court-ordered protection due to repeated attempts of unlawful entry into his home by a man identified as Jonathan Macht.

The 2024 presidential hopeful has applied for a temporary restraining order against Macht, although it’s unclear if a judge has approved it yet. Macht was arrested last month for two attempts to enter Kennedy’s Brentwood residence.

Macht reportedly managed to breach the security fence and entered the yard before being detained by RFK Jr.’s security and subsequently arrested. Despite being released, he attempted to gain entry to the property again the next day, leading to a second arrest.

The Kennedy campaign claims Macht had requested to meet RFK Jr., who was home during both incidents. They’ve flagged Macht as an “obsessed” individual to the Secret Service several times.

Despite having good polling numbers and a tragically assassinated family member, Kennedy has been unsuccessful in securing Secret Service protection. With no help from the Secret Service, RFK Jr. now hopes the court can provide some security assistance.
