Doherty, on her podcast, shared her feeling of deep betrayal stemming from her husband’s infidelity. However, sources close to Iswarienko maintain that he informed Doherty of his new relationship just after New Year’s 2023. A few days later, doctors discovered her brain tumor following an MRI scan, and then scheduled the surgery.

According to sources, Iswarienko was living in Texas and Doherty in California when her tumor was discovered. Upon hearing the news, Iswarienko returned to accompany Doherty to her doctor’s appointments, only to be told on the morning of the surgery that Doherty did not want him there.
