Ralph Bouzy Ambushes Florida Deputies, Scene Caught on Body Cam

Two Florida deputies were nearly killed when they were intentionally struck by a car driven by suspect Ralph Bouzy. The officers were responding to a distress call from Bouzy’s mother when the incident occurred.

The violent event took place in suburban Tampa when Bouzy’s mother alerted authorities about her son’s violent behavior. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found Bouzy in his car in the driveway.

According to police, Bouzy initially left the scene but returned 15 minutes later. A deputy’s body cam caught the moment when Bouzy accelerated his car towards two deputies, pinning one against a patrol car.

Bouzy exited his vehicle after the collision and advanced towards other officers present on the scene, refusing to surrender. He was finally subdued and arrested after officers deployed a taser.

Deputies Carlos Brito and Manuel Santos miraculously survived the brutal attack but sustained critical injuries that required surgery. Both officers remain hospitalized.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister described the incident as an ambush, expressing disgust over the events. Bouzy has been charged with attempted murder of law enforcement officers.
