The panic attack occurred when Cindy was participating in the A&E and Lifetime documentary, “Casey Anthony’s Parents: The Lie Detector Test.” She spoke about her conviction that her daughter, Casey, knows the truth about what happened to 3-year-old Caylee in 2008.

During the conversation, Cindy became increasingly distressed, crying and clutching her chest. Her husband, George, quickly stepped in to soothe her.
Unfortunately, the panic attack seemed to persist. George, concerned for his wife’s wellbeing, suggested they visit a hospital while trying to help her relax on the ground. The severity of the situation remains unclear from the preview clip.
In a separate clip from the documentary, George also becomes emotional during a lie detector test. He struggles to answer the question about whether he concealed his granddaughter’s whereabouts – an allegation made by Casey.
Caylee Anthony disappeared in June 2008. Her remains were found several months later. During Casey Anthony’s 2011 trial, she accused George of disposing of Caylee’s body. She also claimed in a 2022 documentary that her father staged Caylee’s death to implicate her.
