Jonathan Majors believed Grace Jabbari might harm herself after their breakup, finding her unconscious in his apartment.
TMZ secured the 911 call made by Jonathan when he was arrested for an “attempted suicide.”
Jonathan shared with the dispatcher that Grace threatened to harm herself post-breakup. He spent the night at a hotel as Grace had locked him out of his Manhattan penthouse.
Jonathan narrates in the audio that the building’s doorman aided him to enter his apartment where he discovered Grace unconscious in his closet with a cut behind her ear.
Jonathan remained on call till the first responders arrived exhibiting concern for Grace. He was unsure if she had fallen when asked by the dispatcher.
Two NYPD officers who arrived at the scene testified that when Grace regained consciousness, she appeared worried about Jonathan’s whereabouts.
Officers noted Grace inquired about her hurt ear – one of the reasons Jonathan is being prosecuted. However, they admitted not asking her if she had fallen.
Grace had previously reported to the cops that Jonathan had assaulted her after a disagreement, leading to his arrest.
The 911 call entered as evidence in Majors’ assault trial. The prosecution has rested its case, and Majors’ defense started presenting their witnesses.
